I-ELLA charges a 10% transaction fee on every item sold on our platform.  10% of this fee is directed to a charity selected by the buyer. For celebrity auctions, 75% of the fee is directed to charity.  Featured Insiders may give (and they have) 100% of their proceeds to the charity of their choice.

MAKE AN OFFER

It's a simple, easy way to get what you want on your terms. Here's how it works:

You see something you love love love at I-ELLA.com, but aren't quite sure about the price.

1.) Send a note to concierge@i-ella.com or click the 'MAKE AN OFFER' link in the header. Include the ITEM DESCRIPTION, ASKING PRICE, OFFER and any message you'd like us to communicate.

2.) We discreetly relay your offer to the seller if deemed appropriate.

3.) If the offer is accepted, the seller will adjust the price and you will be notified.

Please Note: You will have less than 24hours to complete your purchase. Act quickly because other Fashion Insiders will have access to your item at the newly adjusted price.

As always, the I-ELLA Concierge will be available every step of the way to facilitate the deal.

 

Our online community is invitation only, and we mean it. This means no more combing through page after page of questionable results; we make it easy for you to find what you’re looking for and buy it right away. I-ELLA currently uses Paypal for all transactions.

At I-ELLA we believe one fashionista’s trash is another fashionista’s treasure. Love your Balenciaga bag but feel it's time for an update? Swap that satchel with another user for something you'll enjoy even more. It's new to you, and earth friendly too! All of I-ELLA’s sellers are serious style-mavens, which means no more listing your wares next to counterfeit and less than stellar products. There’s no cost to list items so feel free to list as many as you like. Pricing is also determined by the seller. We generally recommend that items be listed at about 40% of their retail value, but it is entirely up to the seller to determine how they list their wares. We also want to ensure that you describe your item fully and completely. Thing's we'd like to know: the color, the composition (including lining and embellishment materials), the style and cut, any measurements you might have, where it was made, approximately how old it is for vintage items, if it's true to fit, if it requires dry cleaning, etc.

 

I-ELLA suggests at least a 25% discount over Retail Price, but seller ultimately sets price.  Seller keeps 90 percent of the Buy Price. I-ELLA keeps a 10% of transaction fee for all products sold directly by the seller.  10% of this transaction fee is donated to one of three charities selected by the buyer.

All sales on I-ELLA.com are final sale unless otherwise stated. Products purchased from I-ELLA are always final sale. Individual sellers may determine if they would like to accept returns or not and are free to set up return policies. 6. Charity Component

I-ELLA's user marketplace is curated, which means we won't be accepting every item posted on the site. To avoid having an item removed, simply refer to our list of Loves and Loathes below, and if ever you're unsure about an item, please do not post it. From time to time, the I-ELLA team will pose as 'mystery shoppers' to purchase and investigate suspicious items posted in our marketplace. If we find the item does not comply with our editorial expectations and the rules of the marketplace, we will remove it. We will always contact the seller if an item has been removed, to help coordinate re-posting and fixing any images. Please note, we do not accept images from third parties, whether another website, shop, or user. Your images must always be your own.

-New or unused items with tags
-Beautiful quality vintage
-Handmade pieces
-Accessories such as shoes, hats, scarves, belts, sunglasses, and of course, jewelry

-Truly covetable fashion apparel
-Art and books are welcome too

-Barely worn dresses

-Alcohol, tobacco, drugs or drug paraphernalia
-Live animals or illegal animal products
-Fire arms or weapons
-Pornographic materials
-Motor vehicles of any kind
-Real estate
-Anything that promotes or glorifies hatred, racial intolerance, religious intolerance, or illegal behavior

-Illegal or counterfeit items (including items that are stolen or obtained through illegal means, or that would otherwise create liability for I-ELLA or any third party, or violate any local, state, national, or international law)

-Items that infringe, or may infringe, any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright or other intellectual or proprietary right of any party
-Any other items that I-ELLA, in its sole discretion, determines should not be allowed on the Service.

Bidding works the same here as it does on other online auction sites. The opening bid will be determined by the team based on the retail value of the piece, and all ensuing bids must be higher than that. When the auction closes, the winning bidders are notified and asked to pay for their items. Please note, you only have 24 hours to pay, and if you do not, your bid will be null and void. 75% of the sale price will be directed to the celebrity's charity of choice.
