I-ELLA talks with one of our favorite fashion bloggers, Beth Jones of B. Jones Style!

I-ELLA: Please share with us your background and how you became such an admirable blogger.

Beth: I started a blog in January 2007 called The Vintage Society which was going to be the name of a store I wanted to open. The blogging world took off and I ended up doing a lot of different things within the fashion world. The store idea went away and I rebranded myself to B. Jones Style.

I-ELLA: How would you define your personal style?

Beth: Eclectic, Vintage-Inspired and Dramatic

I-ELLA: What always catches your eye when shopping?

Beth:  Statement pieces. I love finding unique and wonderful things. If it is a bold print, color or cut, I'm interested.

I-ELLA: Who is your favorite designer brand and why?

Beth: For the fall collections I loved Suno; I loved the print mixing, the granny-gone-glam look and big crazy hair. I loved it all.

I-ELLA: Who or what inspires you most when styling? Do you have any style icons?

Beth: I am inspired by characters from movies, books, or people who are character-like. Biggest character I love and who is my style icon – Carrie Bradshaw. She was daring, kooky, sexy, fabulous, everything all in one. Love her!

I-ELLA: Whose closet are you guilty of raiding at times?

Beth: No one's.

I-ELLA: What is the most meaningful thing in your closet?

Beth: Maybe, my vintage fur vest. I bought it 6 years ago and it was before blogging and everything my life
has turned into, but I was so excited about it and wore it non-stop just
for the love of style. I had really started to come into my own sense of
style that is still with me today.. so maybe that piece.

I-ELLA: 3 simple rules to live by

Beth: Stay Humble, Be Teachable and Love like you would want to be loved.

I-ELLA: What's next?

Beth: Being a chic and fabulous mom.. hopefully.
